Who says the Old Masters can’t be fun?

In these classes, we took inspiration from some of history’s most famous paintings, recreating iconic masterpieces while adding our own artistic flair.

From the dramatic colours of The Scream, to painterly versions of the Mona Lisa, both projects encouraged creativity as well as technical skill.

Working in both acrylics and watercolours, we explored colour mixing, brushwork, composition and artistic interpretation while discovering what makes these masterpieces so timeless.

It was wonderful to see each artist put their own unique stamp on these much-loved classics.
