Private Painting Workshops & Parties
A private painting event is an opportunity for you to take part in a fun social outing with friends whilst creating a painting from start to finish. It’s a super laid back experience where your art instructor teaches you step by step how to create a painting and you get to take the painting home with you when you are done.
These events are held in our basement art studio in Great Hallingbury, Bishop’s Stortford.
Tailored mostly for adults, but we paint with kids too! These events have become really popular over the past few years. It’s a great way for people to unleash their creativity in a safe and supportive way while enjoying the experience alongside friends and loved ones.
We can tailor make your painting experience to suit you. You can choose the painting subject from our Look and Book Section below, or choose your own subject. We provide all the materials and tuition needed.
These experiences are fantastic for parties, events, hen-doos, team building, get-togethers etc. They are usually 3 hours long and hot/cold drinks and biscuits can be included.

Materials vary depending on which workshop you choose. In most workshops all materials are included so you only need to bring yourself! If you want recommendations on materials so that you can work at home, we offer links to materials via Amazon, always choose the most cost effective options we can find. We will add these once they are updated. Nudge us if you need info now!
Absolutely! We are very careful to plan each workshop for the absolute beginner. We use the most basic of materials and break each step down into it’s simplest form so that everybody can succeed.
Yes of course, we love it when groups get involved 🙂 It’s a great way to spend quality time together.
Our studio is in Great Hallingbury about ten minutes from Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire. We are in a residential location so full address details are given upon booking.
We hold regular art events at Thorn Grove Primary School, Bishop’s Stortford, Herts, CM23 5LD.

Public workshops are roughly 3 hours with breaks in the middle. We can tailor private events to be any length.

We have reduced the amount of people in each workshop to give everyone more space. We do regular cleaning of all the surfaces and areas used by visitors. Masks are optional and any refreshments are now supplied separately rather than to share. Masks are provided when requested.
No we don’t run paint pouring workshops anymore. If you want to paint pour we can point you to a great local artist who can provide this service. Get in touch.
Whilst primarily we tailor our workshops for adults, we find that children aged 7+ are able to follow along loosely and have produced some lovely works of art.
