Looking for something a little different to do with friends, family or work colleagues this Christmas?

Why not get together for a fun, festive painting party at The Arthouse Oasis!

Just look at what some of my younger artists have been creating at The Arthouse Oasis!

(I don’t mean Dame Judi Dench was in the studio, but you know what I mean!)

We’ve been working on these beautiful Rococo-inspired oil paintings for quite some time now, and just look at them!

This is a look into our Monet inspired landscapes, how many marks is too many marks?

Some of these artists had either never painted in oils before, or never painted at all!

It’s a fabulous way to learn how to paint skin and we also use the proportional divider to work out where everything sits!

Check out this gorgeous floral painting session.

In the studio on the easel today, florals in a glass vase. 🌺 ❤️

This evening is a great way to get together, catch up and be inspired to get creative ourselves.

Join us for a unique, full-day, beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn to paint a beautiful willow on the lake in oils.

If you are NOT already a member of the Stortford Art Society, then you can attend this workshop for FREE!

Painting the Northern Lights is messier than it looks! Have you ever seen them in real life?

The Bishop’s Stortford Art Society has partnered up with Herts In Arts, and are delighted to offer 4 new creative workshops for free!

Check us out painting waterfalls with confidence! Painting like Bob Ross is a truly unique experience.

Wow, check out these beautiful paintings! Thanks so much to Ian for helping us to paint like Bob Ross yesterday.

My young student is kitty cat mad! How do you like our ‘Girl with a Purrl Earring’ and ‘The Last Sup-purr’.

This is what it looks like inside our Bob Ross workshop! It’s an incredible experience of painting all day with oils in the style of Bob Ross.

There’s something especially lovely about watching a painting gradually come together

My young student is excited to get into the Rococo period of painting, but she wants to put her own slant on it!…

We take our time to learn about how watercolours actually work, what papers to use, and what brushes work best for each flower.
