Here are a few answers to our most common questions.

What is the cost for each live workshop or event?

Costs vary depending on which workshop you choose.

Generally they range between £35 to £55 per person, all materials included.

Contact us for more details.

What materials do I need?

Materials vary depending on which workshop you choose. All materials are included so you only need to bring yourself! If you want recommendations on materials so that you can work at home, just ask!

How long is a workshop?

Public workshops are roughly 2-3 hours with breaks in the middle. We can tailor private events to be any length.

I REALLY am not arty. Should I even try your workshops??

Absolutely! We are very careful to plan each workshop for the absolute beginner. We use the most basic of materials and break each step down into it’s simplest form so that everybody can succeed.

I have a project in mind. Can you help?

Definitely! Whether it’s something experimental, elaborate, or completely outside the box, we’re always up for a creative challenge. Get in touch and tell us what you’re dreaming up — we’d love to hear more.

What’s the difference between all of your art options?

I offer a few different ways to get creative, depending on what suits you best:

  • One-Off Workshops – Fun, standalone public sessions, great for beginners or a creative day out. You’ll work alongside others and take your finished painting home.

  • Private Lessons – Tailored 1:1 or small group sessions, arranged around your goals and schedule. You’ll have dedicated attention and take your finished painting home.

  • Rolling Sessions – Ideal for your choice of projects that need more time. These flexible sessions can be as frequent as you like, with no fixed start or end date. Just book when it suits you and enjoy deep-diving into your chosen project. You’re welcome to leave your artwork in the studio between sessions.

  • Short Set Courses – Structured course that runs over a set number of weeks, perfect for building skills in a specific area (oil painting). The subject and medium are set by Gabrielle.

Still not sure what’s right for you? Just ask — I’m happy to help you find the best fit.

Can I do a workshop with my family, friends or children?

Yes of course, we love it when groups get involved 🙂 It’s a great way to spend quality time together.

Whilst primarily we tailor our workshops for adults, we find that children aged 7+ are able to follow along loosely and have produced some lovely works of art.

How do I book a private session?

Drop me an email and let me know what you’d like to draw or paint. We can then find a date and time to suit you, and once payment is made then your date is secured.

Where else can I get involved in art?
