Painting animals might be the funnest thing we do in the studio, especially when you can paint your very own pets!

In this session we combined watercolour with simple pen lines to create pet portraits that captured the character of each pet!

It was lovely to see everyone’s favourite cats and dogs gradually appear on the page. Some paintings were bright and quirky, others a little softer, but every single one had its own personality.

These cats and dogs sessions are always a reminder that you don’t need perfect drawing skills to create something you’ll be proud of. Being willing to give it a go means you are already winning, and you can leave having created your very own pet masterpiece. 😉.
