This week’s portrait session featured none other than Bruce Springsteen. Rather than aiming for photographic realism, we focused on capturing his character using bold brushstrokes, simplified values and expressive colour. Portraits like this are a brilliant way to build confidence with skin tones, facial structure and dramatic lighting, and I really enjoyed getting to grips with this one!
