A Special 1:1 Portrait Session

This young artist spent a focused one-to-one session drawing portraits of her family members — and what a fantastic job she did!

We worked step by step through facial proportions, shading techniques, and how to bring personality into a pencil sketch.

Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon — calm, creative, and filled with proud moments.

You can really feel that Monet influence, but still with everyone’s own twist.

Watercolour is one of those mediums that looks tricky… until you realise it’s all about letting go a little.
