I finished the painting for my mother's birthday

Here are some photos of the finished painting I created for my mother, I’m calling her ‘Rustic Blooms’. (That’s the painting. Not my mother.)

Now I’m getting to work on the next 3 paintings in the same series, this is exciting!

This was session one of our acrylic floral paintings, and it’s always such a nice stage — loose, soft and full of potential.

There’s something really special about watching a face slowly appear on the page as confidence builds with each layer of shading.
