Hello you, how are you? What have you been up to?
I’ve been unlocking my new love for painting pottery! The more I work at The Little Arts Workshop the more hands on I get with the ceramics. And I am totally LOVING painting designs onto them.
I painted these pretty blue poppies onto a jug this month, and when I posted this video on Facebook I got such a lovely response it got me thinking. Could I paint bespoke designs onto ceramics for people as gifts for celebrations and events? I don’t know yet, but maybe I’ll do more and see if there is a market for it.

This is the first in my recent Monet inspired painting series, I’ve loved building up all the layers in the water, those little reflections and the way the light sits on the surface.
