Acrylic Painting Workshop with David Pasfield

The Stortford Art Society is delighted to announce an acrylic painting workshop day with David Pasfield. Join us and paint your very own vibrant landscape painting in a fun, group setting.

Bring your own materials, suggested materials list is below.

Bring your own lunch and mug for refreshments.

Tea and coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the day.

Chairs and tables will be available, but participants may have to share a table.

VENUE: Thorn Grove Primary School, Thorn Grove, Bishop’s Stortford CM23 5LD
COST: £20. Booking in advance only.

MATERIALS LIST:
I list below a materials and equipment suggestions. I hope this helps.
Acrylics – vibrant colours.
Hardboard, MDF board or canvass at least 50×50 cms in size. These should be prepared with a coat of white gesso before the workshop and should be thoroughly dry at the workshop.
Heavy impasto Matt gel for thickening the acrylics.
Large decorator’s brush and other bristle brushes.
2x large water pots to immerse large brushes.
Palette knives.
Kitchen towels or old towels, etc.
Standing or tabletop easel.
Newspaper to cover tables.
Apron or wear old clothes – it can be messy!
