The Arthouse Oasis News
This afternoon’s art class, portraits in pencil. We take our time in building up the various layers in a pencil portrait. Beginning with a hard HB pencil and then blending a little. Then adding some 2b, and blending again. We repeat the process multiple times, using a darker, softer pencil each time.
It’s a very satisfying process! Thanks to my young artist for her wonderful drawing skills today!
