Half day workshop for beginners
If you would like to learn how to paint a portrait in oils in a direct, lively, expressive way then this course is for you.
Jo Sinclair is an experienced portrait artist and teacher. Jo will take you through the different stages of mapping out a portrait, applying tone and form, mixing oil colour and using mediums in a simple to understand way.
All materials, including a photographic portrait will be provided. Only low odour thinners will be used.
This day long course is completely suitable for beginners as Jo will show you how to get started with oils and progress through the stages of a portrait.
This workshop is tailored for absolute beginners and you’ll end up with a finished painting that you can take home with you.
