(Refer to Calendar 8th October to book in for this course. Bookings close on 8th October 2024.) \nI’ve enjoyed learning this technique so much I just have to share it with you! In this 4 week course we’ll be learning about oils and how they differ from other mediums. We’ll also be learning to paint in the style of the Old Masters\, using lots of amazing techniques. This experience is split into multiple sessions because each layer will need to dry before moving onto the next. \nThe Course is split up as follows: \nWeek 1 – Oil Underpainting (3hrs)\nWeek 2 – Cool Transparent Oil Layers (2.5hrs)\nWeek 3 – Warm Transparent Oil Layers (2.5hrs)\nWeek 4 – Opaques Oil Layers (3hrs)\nOptional Session – Oil Pastel Detailing (1hr)\n(12 hrs total but this is approximate). \nSome painting experience is helpful but not essential. \nDates are set but if you can’t make these then we can work out a date for you to paint as a 121. \nPlease email if you have any questions.
